my birthday on 17th november so il be getting a new K5.9 HPI engine, for christmas il be getting my new HPI Savage hopefully, just don't know which savage to choose yet, and will it be as good as my MTA4 is?

put it this way if your nitro can do 60mph , than its better than modern day electric trucks , if not get yourself a good brushles system and a lipo batterie ,, i think you will be suprised

I converted a Hyper 9 to run electric and raced it at the Neo race, since then I think big brushless is the future of the hobby!

i have run nitro to be honest it was way to much hard work for me , i much prefer plug and play of electric more so now with lipo brushles power . not saying they are perfect buy any means but a lot less hassle .

e maxx is cheap as chips, and as soon as you upgrade the shock towers to rpm very tough too. I cart wheel mine regularly! Pretty quick around35mph and most of all WATERPROOF! Im just about to install the kernshaw designs 700 hn . Very cheap brushed motors which kick out brushless power!

the emaxx is a good truck but know where near the savage flux we are talking chalk and cheese here , the kershaw desighns motors are a waiste of money , they burn up pretty quick . trust me on that ,, save your money and go brushles you will never look back

the savage flux does look very good from what i have seen out of it, but at £550 not that cheap. . . looks like im going to have a good talk to my parents

yes not a cheap truck , whish i could afford one .lol.. i have to make do with a nitro savage conversion , that i have yet to finish , but most the guys i know that run them are very pleased with the savage flux , its the price of castles mmm that bumps the price up i have opted for cheaper electronicks , thanks

the flux isn't worth the money. Its poorly made. Yeah its tough but not quality. My maxx is great fun and under half the price. Its still pretty rapid, and i ordered my kernshaw motors first thing this morning, hopefully notatoy you had a bad experience and mine will be ok. Did you send them back? So far ive heard nothing but positive reports. We'll have to wait and see. Fingers crossed?

not had a bad experiance bro but plenty have they are no where near the output of brushles motors , and dont last to long but i guess you will find out the hard way , i would agree the flux is over priced , as i said but not poorly made it is head and shoulders above the maxx as many trucks are including the e-revo . . but each to there own , good luck

yeah, i know what your saying. I thought about a revo but really wanted the maxx. Daft as it sounds the looks did it for me . Its lived up to my expectations so far. And i have beat it pretty hard. As for brushless, i really want waterproof. Lots of woods and mud nearby.

dont get me wrong i love the maxx as i said a very good truck , but like all r/c they have there faults so does the revo and the savage flux , those motors are not worth the money m8 if you dont believe me ask my m8 he thought they where great till they burnt up , here is his video had them installed in a revo his name is chris email him he will tell you what i have told you .. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YX-lPAhhs6U

well ive ran the kernshaws every day, and beat the crap out of my maxx, obviously breaking a shock tower in the process and an a-arm mis judging a lamp post at speed

a lot of speed! so ive got rpm skids, a-arms ,tru track conversion and shock towers. the motors have performed faultlessly and like i say its been out every day when i dog walk. i need it to chase him when he starts to eat things in the distance!
my only minor gripe is that when i did a headf to head with a super maxx i nearly blew my batteries! they peeled off the plastic and copper tabs!
still working though..........................

wont be going lipo cant be bothered with mothering cells.
