havoc... what fuel?
« on: June 11, 2009, 06:27:13 PM »
Just bought a havoc (should be delivered on monday) its my first rc so go easy on me if i sound even newbie than i am

Can anyone please recommend a good fuel to use? the price difference in 16%, 20% & 25% doesnt bother me, so obviously the 25% will be better? Anyone tell me what brand is a good buy and what to avoid.

Cheers folks

I'm running Modeltechnics big bang 25% cant complain.

Fuels fuel as far as I'm concerned, some can argue about other stuff being better but to be honest if it's cheap and it works then I'm good.

cheers Stumungous thats what i was thinking but just wanted someone else to say it for me to be sure

Its a 2 month old havoc that ive bought its been run-in and tuned but has been running on 16%, i'd rather change to 25% and stick to that, will i need to retune the engine again? And would you start from scratch or just slightly modify the tuning?

thanks again

Best bet would be to break it in again, perhaps idle it for a few tanks to allow it to fully bed in.
