hey revo,

The book says to do this to bed in the engine because other wise you'll cause alot of trouble and damage to the engine I think well i'm pretty sure any way it's long winded but saves a whole lot of trouble

By sitting it on a brick you do that damage, the book is for the car AND NOT the engine. As any engine manufacturer (eg force, the engines Hot Bodies use and HPi Copy) and they will tell you to go use the engine from new just do NOT rev the tits off it.

You must treat these engines like a ful size car, you do not see them brough to your house on a flat be load then lifted up on bricks (unless you live ina very doggy area and have nice rims on) and left to run for 100,000 miles for the engine to be in. You just us the car and do not rake the tits off it for the first couple of thousand miles.

i hope this helps, this is how I have been advised to bed in every engine by every manufacturer for the last 25 years I have been racing and nlot one has gone wrong doing it like this. I have also spoken to other World class racers when i have attended the World Championships and they do the same.

On a different point, good choice of car, I love mine and would not be without it.
