mta4 tyres
« on: May 12, 2009, 06:28:52 PM »
hi

used to be on here ages ago but haven't used my cars in about 2 years   :-\  so yesterday decided to get the mta4 up and running again. i bought 4 new hpi wheels the last time i used it but went out and stripped the hexes out of all four of the wheels so using the standard ones again but need new tyres for them. i dont want the stock tyres as lets face it they are ham so wanted a different set with a bit more stability

was thinking these : http://www.modelsport.co.uk/index.php?CallFunction=ShowSpecification&ItemID=19530

what do you think and anyone have any better suggestions? they will be used for general bashing around again and the odd jumps!

cheers

They are great tyres as long as you don't run them on tarmac as it will wear them out in no time.

Good to have you back O0

GRP do some, they are quite pricey though... £11 a pair :P

They used to be on BMM, now it seems only jespares.com are stocking them.

small problem people! got the tyres throught he other day and they are too small to fit onto the standard wheels  ???  i remember though when i was on here that someone who had an mat4 with hpi wheels on (which i though was the same size as mta4 wheels) was running them but the ones i recieved are definatley too small. can you get them in two sizes? i could only see the one size.

can someone send me a link to the right size tyres to order or anyone know how big my wheels are?

cheers
