Hi all, I'm new to this forum but am active on several others, i thought you'd like to see a few pics of my completely modded wheely king, and my latest clod tuber again totally home built.
First the wheely king, it runs a dewalt battery drill motor on a clocked motor plate mounted to a modded wk gearbox, the chassis is 3mm carbon and Kevlar laminate, All links and spacers are stainless steel, the links use junfac ends, shocks are still std though I'm going to set it up to run full droop having tested it on the clod. I'm using a novak rooster esc not ideal but I'm used to it and the usual towerprohigh torque servo . the wheels are topcad alloy beadlocks and the tyres are std wk's heavily narrowed and cut, they work extremely well on this truck, strangely better than some so called crawling tyres I've tried.
oh and the driveshafts are stainless tube grafted to traxas ends.
