My Ansmann Royal Flash needed more HP...
« on: March 02, 2009, 03:01:39 PM »
So as usual, I didn't do a half arsed job.

This truck Can. Handle. It. I don't know what they made the diffs out of, some adamantium perhaps, but they refuse to fail even without a slipper under the brushless and Lipo assault. I've had it flying 10ft in the air, hitting kerbs at 20-30mph and it just bounces back. It's tougher than my Slash for certain. I've missed reliable 4wd... Seriously, every RC manufacturer needs to get one of these kits and figure out just how Ansmann can turn them out for £50, and based on how much fun this is they also need to slap each other stupid for not building any electric 1/10th 4wd sts anymore.

As a side note, mmmmm... I love soldering Traxxas's crap back together ::)

I've got a MM 5700 in mine and it's great fun! I did manage to kill one diff though, but since I replaced it it's taken some serious abuse and just kept asking for more!! Probably the best fun you can have for £50 (unless you go to a place near me that one of my mates told me a about ;))
