As long as its a KM baja or shen qi you should be reasonably safe.

On both models the diff needs replacing as it uses 8mm instead of 10mm parts, but then it is a plastic diff so really you should be swapping it out either way.

... lets just say there are a few clones floating around the baja forum unbeknown to the HPI fanboys. 28)

thanks for the info stu must admitt i didnt think to check the make just thought they were all the same but as you say there are lots of these copys floating about .iam not against copys at all i have a copy of the tamiya tl01 known as the bonzer cross tiger and had no problems with it . on the shengi make i think thats nitrotec if so these were one of the models that did get complaints ,you have only to read the comments on you tube to see what i mean .but the price is very tempting ,,thanks for the input stu ..
