In the RC review section the page appears to half cropped. It doesn't show a complete line and only shows half a picture when it runs out of room.

The forum is fine though  :-\

I have realized what you were taling about, and have restructured the settings to fix your problem O0 I wasn't suffering with it because I have a widescreen monitor 28). I noticed it still kept the text within frame though, just struggled with the images.

Many Thanks for pointing out the problem.

Have you all noticed the new menus options to the right? I'm populating them daily, someone try a few comments after the articles to test it please :) There is lots to add from the old version of RCk, so maybe the odd jem you never noticed O0

My old Thomas project had me and my daughter in stitches 2:) I can't beleive I did a 2 mile trip on that thing with my kids to their grandads 2:)

Its something we had ages ago, you give karma to members that help etc. I thought I'd give it another run, if it causes fights again I'll remove it :--

'Tis good to have Karma back! Let's just hope things don't get silly this time round. O0
For the best R/C product news, reviews and forums, visit www.rckingdom.co.uk!

Cold Fusion Status: Not running, due to broken suspension arm.
Air Fury Status: Pretty much running. Needs new battery setup (overheating badly), and soon, motors.
Electrical Storm Status: Under construction; 25% complete. Will finish it sometime before the earth is swallowed up by the sun.
TBX (Tamiya Brushless Xtreme) Status: STILL waiting to be sold as an "almost-roller". PM me if interested!
King Bee Status: Almost flying, just needs a few bits and some repairs.
Solaris Status: It flies! Ailerons are rubbish, but it flies. Just doesn't like landing...
Project X: So secret, it doesn't even have a codename!

Colin, you need to check out the bashing/track finder thread... just added my local area and noticed some of the colours look way-off on a white background.

Yeah, yellow isn't such a great colour now

I'll work through these in time, going to continue the projects, reviews, etc transfer first.

The reason it still has black on it is that we are still using our bookmarked link.
http://www.rckingdom.co.uk/mam/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=167&action=recent

You just need to update it to this :

Assuming you have the 'most recent posts' as your bookmark/favourite.

I have that problem with the frames again on the homepage.
Just to let you know I think it could be the default frame size is too small. It has only happened to the new bits you have put on. The blurb at the top telling you about the change appears fine.

Are you still having this issue? I can't think what it could be now ??? What resolution do you run?

Right, ALL the projects from the old site have now been transfered.
I'm going to start work on the review stuff next. I'm not going to bother transfering the news articles, I'll just start afresh as news is current anyway by its nature.

Anything else you guys would like to see added?

I hope the new style is doing it for you, I certainly prefer it. My aim is for the whole site to be easier to use and visit, which I think it is now.

Yep, it was getting a tad quiet. I'd had a busy year and just wasn't able to dedicate the time needed to do something like this. Updating used to be a hit and miss afair on the Joomla based site, this is just as easy as doing it within the forum :D
