Nice to see another fan of the "family offroader".
With a little massaging these can become a great toy, and with a bit more effort they can compete with the best of em.
I'm running a 2" lift (shox and springs) rear 2" shock droppers, X springs, extended braided brake hoses, oversize heavy duty cranked trailing arms (that fix under the axle so no poss' of binding at all) , polybushed all round, rear h/d bumper , steel 3 piece steering guard, diff guards and most recently have changed from my discoparts tubular winch bumper carrying a T Max EWI 12000 to a defender bumper with my 8274 mounted in there

(which took some work to get on, believe me)
A different front view of a disco

Nice and snug

maximised approach angle
