Lights and nearly finishedI've pretty much finished it today, and I'm very pleased with it. Total cost including the Jeep is ?21.00, which ain't bad for something as capable as this

You can see I've got rid of the awful orange shell, and it is now a matt grey. Its just a primer, but I felt it looked so good as it was. It is a German war time colour, and does the job. I had to file away some of the front end because of the massive twist the axle now gets. I've done it in such a way that it does not show.
I also added lights to the front and rear, although this still need to be linked up to a switch. The electrics have been tidyed up and secured. The body has been lifted, again had to be done as I didn't want to hack the body.
I've had a little play indoors but with a wood floor there is no grip to show off how good it is. I'll do a better video when I get some day light. I'm working on a system to pull the springs back if it over flexs, and what I've come up with works a treat, but I need some washers before I can fit it.
I'll start work on another one soon, maybe use my Monster Beetle shell on that one
