I can voucher for Nitrotek O0

They hold good stocks and do support customers if they have problems. They have an ever expanding range at the moment which must mean the company is doing well.

Either model that you mentioned will be decent for a first nitro. They are not the strongest kits though, so be a little careful with them on the rough stuff. They will be easy to maintain, and are a nice starting point.

I'm not sure what truck your mate has, but 72mph is pushing it a bit :o Could be worth buying all the same, as if you find you don't like, you could sell that on much easier. Any idea what truck it is?

Hi guys

I'm back O0.  Soory about the long absence.  Since I was last on here, which appears to be January or something, I've been up to a few things, firstly, I've bought a house, on my own, so money's flying out the window :(.  Secondly, just come second in the Clanfield Monster Truck Champs.  so been busy with that and the house, with not much time (or money) to do much else.  Thought i'd better pop in and say hello.

Good to have you back onboard the good ship RcK O0

You did well in the Clanfield champs, nice work. Do you know Jez Blabber? I think he has been doing that championship this season too. What was you running?

Jez Blabber, lol, or Jez Blaber as he insists to be known.  He has too many cars for his own good,  ;).  He's an ok bloke though.  I think he was doing MB as well as Clanfield, he didn't attent all of Clanfield rounds though if memory serves.

I was/am running the Mighty Mgt ( C ) (see avatar for pic).   Was still using the .21 untill about a month ago, then caved in and strapped in the SH 28. cheap speed  O0.  Anyway, really pleased with second, It was the first time ever, that's ever, that I have won anything trophy wise  O0 (--).

We're about to start the winter champs next week (19th Nov) so gotta get her cleaned up and ship shape to do battle with Ben Champion, this years MB champ  :-\ ???.

Hello Everybody
I have been a member for a while now and have only just found this welcome page, never have been any good on computers. This is the first site i have tried to get involved with, more so since i meet colin. I have been playing with rc cars for as long as i can remember and being a horder i now have over 20 cars(not all working at the moment), 1 Hovercraft, working on a boat and for christmas i got a 6ch heli. I always have to many projects on the go at the same time and never have any money. So  i cant just go out and buy the parts i need to get them finished. Im also slowly building a Suzuki jeep that i use every day and use for off road as often as possible. A few months ago i changed jobs im now back into enginerring so that should help with my todo list I think i will start with the rock crawler as there is a lot to make on that. I have a 6 year old son that is slowly taking up more room in the shed with his rc gear, he got a 1/6th new bright crawler for christmas not idea where thats going to fit we only have a 6x4 shed for all of it plus 3 or 4 cars min from other people that im fixing for them. I race at lord robberts or try to anyway. Well i think that covers it all. look forward to talking to you all.

How you finding it here at Chez RCK? loving it i expect? So how's that 1/6th crawler then? a bit of fun, or quite up-gradable? I'd like to see one to be honest. might be a fun side line from all these RC's in this house!!!!!!

Anyway welcome mate, and hope to see some of your stuff on here soon :D

Hello and Welcome to RcK O0

You have made good choices with your first two RC purchases, both are great fun and very much father and son machines. There is loads of Havoc information within this forum, and simple search for "Havoc" will keep you busy for a while O0

The 1/6th is my sons and the misses has told me that im not aloud to play with it, but luckly she doesnt have a clue so it wont be long before i start messing with it. At the moment im colecting as much info as i can find out about it so she wont see it in bits. He got it so he can play when we take out the Clodbusters so it will need plaing with. I will get some pictures sorted as soon as i work out how.

Now working on the second one, which will either carry a monster beetle or clod shell. Anyway, bit off topic so I'll leave it at that here :-\

Sorry to barge in again, but Hello again.

Moved into my plush bachelor pad in the exclusive area of Bed-on-the-Hampton.  So not been connected to the www for a few months.  But now i'm back so will be visiting a bit more often than of late.

I see the site has undergone yet another transformation, looks nice and clean, but seems dog slow.  Keep it up guys.
