Team Associated’s new XP Series high-voltage servos aim to be better suited to the 7.4V LiPo packs used by racers in their cars these days. Most of the current generation of servos are designed only for 6.0V input, and this can cause reliability issues. These new servos feature updated motors and electronic circuitry that are designed to withstand the rigors of high-voltage operation in nitro vehicles. A metal gear version (MG) is perfect for use as the steering servo while the standard version is suitable for controlling the throttle. Even though they are designed to run with 7.4V, they can also be used with standard 6.0V NiMh receiver batteries and are also perfect for use as the steering servo in electric vehicles with the SC10 RTR actually coming equipped with the SHV1504MG.

In addition the starting flywheel mechanism can be reconfigured so that it can start engines placed along the chassis or perpendicular to the chassis. The starting mechanism utilizes a large heavy duty 775 size motor with pulley/belt reduction system to produce the torque required for new 21 sized engines. Furthermore, the alignment posts are adjustable from the top with a single tool for easy set-up.
KM Racing have released this set of 4 setup wheels for use with 1/10th scale touring cars. Machined from aluminium, so lightweight, they are available anodised in red, blue and gun metal. Xray have released this optional monoblock engine mount for the NT1. Providing solid engine mounting and easy adjustment, the unique keyed-mount design allows for the easy removal and replacement of the engine without the need for gear mesh re-adjustment after every replacement. The smartly-designed mounting system consists of two components, an adjustable base mounted to the chassis, and a pair of upper mounts (sold separately) which remain attached to the engine crankcase that key to the adjustable base. The monoblock provides a stiffer design than the standard single engine mounts but is still a bit more flexible than the Multi-Flex 1-piece engine mounting system, and is recommended for low and medium traction conditions.
Pro-Line have released their Suburbs for use on 2.2″ buggy rear wheels. Available in the company’s M3, MX and MC compounds for loose dirt/cool surface, blue-groove/high heat and clay conditions respectively, they were used at the 2008 ROAR 1/10 Off-Road Nationals, by Ryan Cavalieri who dominated the 2wd modified buggy class. Featuring an inner and outer radius rib tread for increased corner holding and predictable side-bite, the internal carcass webbing resist tire expansion under acceleration and deceleration while the internal sidewall ribbing maintains sidewall structure in extreme traction conditions for greater corner control. The tread height is predictable, aggressive, and long-lasting for use on a variety of blue-groove track and surfaces where you would typically run soft compound tires.
